Other Peacock families in West Essex (1600-1900)
Apart from the Peacock family based in Matching from the 1750s there are many Peacock families in the villages and small towns within 10 miles of Matching. The table below shows where there were large settlements of Peacock families and the approximate dates that they were in those places.

** The other Roothings include Berners Roothing, White Roothing, etc.
However, what are referred to as the Roothing villages are now known as the Rodings.
