John Peacock was baptized in 1845 in St Mary the Virgin, Great Parndon, Essex.250 The Baptism Register of St Mary the Virgin, Great Parndon, Essex, has the entry:

John, son of James & Catherine Peacock Labourer, was baptised 4.5.1845

He appears with his parents in the 1851 and 1861 Census returns.

John Peacock and Susannah Bell were married in 1866 in Epping, Essex.16  The Civil Marriage registration reference is Dec 1866, v 4a, page 103: in Epping, Essex16

The couple quickly had two children, George in 1867 and John in 1879.  However for some reason, these two children were not with their parents in the 1871 Census. It is possible that his mother was ill or maybe pregnant at the time.  We have not found the whereabouts of the elder boy, George.  However, son John is a boarder with his Aunt, Mary Ann (Bell) Samuel, the sister of his mother Sussannah. 

(Mary Ann Bell and George Samuel were married in 1869 in Epping, Essex.16  The Civil Marriage registration reference is Dec 1869, , v 4a, page 109: in Epping, Essex16 )

Susannah Bell was born in 1842 in Stockferry, Norfolk.13

John Peacock and Susannah Bell had the following children:

i.

George Peacock was baptized in 1867 in St Mary the Virgin, Great Parndon, Essex.250 The Baptism Register of St Mary the Virgin, Great Parndon, Essex, has the entry:

George, son of John & Susannah Peacock Labourer of Great Parndon, was baptised 6/2/1867

He was not living with his parents in 1871, but appears with them in the 1881 and 1891 Censuses above.
 

ii.

John Parlett Peacock was baptized in 1870 in St Mary the Virgin, Great Parndon, Essex.250 The Baptism Register of St Mary the Virgin, Great Parndon, Essex, has the entry:

John Parlett, son of John & Susannah Peacock Labourer of Great Parndon, was baptised 6/6/1870

In the 1871 Census he was not living with his parents, but with his mother's sister, Mary Ann (Bell) Samuel.

By 1881 he had moved back to his parents and appears with them in the 1881 and 1891 Censuses above.

Alice Jane Peacock was baptized in 1872 in St Mary the Virgin, Great Parndon, Essex.250 The Baptism Register of St Mary the Virgin, Great Parndon, Essex, has the entry:

Alice Jane, daughter of John & Susannah Peacock Labourer of Great Parndon, was baptised 28/7/1872

Alice Jane died in 1881The Civil Death registration reference is Mar 1881, v 4a, p 24. West Ham, Essex. Aged 8 16

Florence Peacock was born in 1877 in Stratford.13

She appears with her parents in the 1881 to 1901 Censuses above.

v.

Jessie Peacock was born in 1879 in Stratford.13

She appears with her parents in the 1881 to 1901 Censuses above.

She appears with her parents in the 1891 and 1901 Censuses above.
