Caroline (Burgar) Rickard and her husband Thomas R. Rickard are living separately. This was possibly the result of him having a child with Ellen Ann Butler. Whereas Caroline had Minnie in early 1878, Ellen Ann Butler had Nelly Rose in mid 1878. Caroline’s oldest child, Frank, was with his father in 1881 but with his mother in 1891 (see below).
