Richard

of this work. He was born on 29 Nov 1812 and was baptized on 17 Jan 1813
in St Brides, Fleet St, London.52 The Baptism Register for St Brides, Fleet Street, London has the entry:
Richard son of Charles and Elizabeth Hannah Wetherilt, printer of
of 20 Little New Street, was born 23/11/1812 and was baptised on
20/1/1813.
He died in 1857 at Newington London.16

The Death Certificate states:
Richard Wethereld aged 43 years, Baker, of 5 King Street, East Street,
Walworth, died on the 18th July 1857. Cause of death was Typhus fever, Certified.
The informant was Esther Wethereld, present at the death, of 5 King Street,
East Street, Walworth, she signed with an 'X'. The death was registered on the
21st July 1857 in the Sub-district of St Peter Walworth, in the District of Newington,
Surrey.
Richard Wetherilt and Esther Mudford were married about 1836.121 Esther Mudford was a widow, previously married to William
Edon (Eden)

In the 1841 Census, William Wetherilt aged 11, was the son of Esther
by her previous marriage. He later reverted to the Eden surname.
In 1851 Richard and Esther are with their three Wetherilt children.

was born in 1837 but only baptised in 1849. The Baptism Register for St
Peters, Newington states: George son of Richard and Esther Wetherilt, shoemaker of Nelson Place, was born on 12/11/1837 and baptised on the 12/12/1849.
