Harriet Webster (1841 - ?) - daughter of William George Webster (1779-about 1855) - son of William Webster (1773-1822)

Harriet Webster was born and baptized in 1842 in St Dunstans in the West, Fleet St, London.55 The Baptism Register of St Dunstans in the West, Fleet Street, has the entry:

Harriet, daughter of William George and Mary Blackman Webster, shoemaker, of 2 Bond's Building, White's Alley, was born on the 2/9/1841 and was baptised on the 24/3/1842.

She appears with her parents in the 1851 Census.

Harriet Webster and John Andrew Probert were married on 2 December 1860 in St Leonards, Shoreditch, London.69 The Marriage Register of St Leonards, Shoreditch, has the entry:

Harriet Webster, aged 19, Spinster and milliner, of 11 Batman's Row, and John Andrew Probert, aged 21, Bachelor and blacksmith, of 7 Batsman's Row were married by Banns on the 2/12/1860. He signed but Harriet made her mark.

The fathers were: William George Webster (Deceased), cordwainer; and Phillip Probert, Servant.
The witnesses were: Richard Webster who signed and Mary Webster (Mother) who made her mark.

She appears with her husband in the 1861 Census.
