First Generation

James Rowe is a direct ancestor of Bill Burgar, the author of this work.

He was born about 1770 in Exeter, Devon.²⁰

The IGI has the entry:

James Rowe and Elizabeth Warren were married on 22 March 1793 in St Mary Major, Exeter, Devon.²⁰

 Elizabeth Warren was born in 1773 in Exeter, Devon.⁷

She was baptized on 20 August 1773 in St Sidwell, Exeter, Devon.²⁰

James Rowe and Elizabeth Warren had the following children:

i.	James Rowe was baptized on 25 July 1793 in St Mary Major, Exeter, Devon.20   He presumably died shortly afterwards and was replaced by the James below.
ii.	James Rowe
iii.	Thomas Rowe was was baptized on 14 October 1798 in St Mary Major, Exeter, Devon.20
iv.	Phillip Rowe  was baptized on 15 April 1801 in St Mary Major, Exeter, Devon.20 He died on 6 January 1802.20
