Alan Peacock was born in 1951 in Braintree, Essex. Alan is important to the history of the Matching Peacocks, since he volunteered for DNA testing.  This was to investigate whether John Peacock (1813-1896) was really a son of a male Peacock or was an illegitimate son of a female Peacock.
