Sometime after this, the couple moved to Kent, since Charlotte died there in 1887. The Civil Registration of Death reference is Sep 1887, v 2a, p 367, Aged 55 - in Tonbridge, Kent.16 After Charlotte's death his younger sister Emily joins him and acts as his housekeeper. |
