Susannah Peacock was born on 2 November 1831 in Hatfield Broad Oak, Essex.²⁵² She was baptized in 1832 in Hatfield Heath Dissenters, Essex.²⁵²   The Baptism Register of Hatfield Heath Protestant , Hatfield Heath, Essex has the entry:

Susannah daughter of John Peacock and Elizabeth his wife, of the Parish of Hatfield Broad Oak, Essex, was born 2.11.1831 and baptised 17.6.1832.

In the 1841 Census she was living with her parents in  Newmans End,Matching , Essex. ⁹

Susannah Peacock and John Pavitt were married in 1860 in St Mary the Virgin, Matching, Essex.²²² The Marriage Register for St May the Virgin, Matching, Essex, has the entry:

Susannah Peacock, Full Age, Spinster, of Newmans End & John Pavitt, Full Age, Bachelor, Labourer, of Newmans End married on 28.5.1860. Both signed X.
Fathers: John Peacock Labourer & James Pavitt Labourer.
Witnesses: James Pavitt (signed X) & Susan Pavitt (signed name)
