Alice Peacock was born on 3 October 1886 in Matching Tye, Essex²²²  and was baptized in St Mary the Virgin, Matching, Essex.²²² The Baptism Register of St Mary the Virgin, Matching, Essex has the entry:

Alice, daughter of George & Ellen Peacock, Labourer of Matching Tye, was born 3/10/1886 and was baptised 28/11/1886

She is with her parenst in 1891 but in the 1901 Census she is away from home as a 14 year old servant.

Alice Peacock and William Charles Crouchman were married on 16 July 1910 in St Mary the Virgin, Matching, Essex.²²² The Marriage Register for St May the Virgin, Matching, Essex, has the entry:

Alice Peacock, 23, Spinster of Matching married William Charles Crouchman, 22 Bachelor Labourer of Matching on 16/7/1910. Both signed.
Fathers: George Peacock Thatcher and Charles Crouchman Groom.
Witnesses: William John Baker and Ellen Peacock. Both signed.

Alice She died on 2 May 1975 in Matching, Essex²⁵³  and is buried  in the churchyard of St Mary the Virgin, Matching, Essex.²⁵³  A headstone has the following inscription:

died 2/5/1975
