Harry Peacock was in 1878 in All Saints, High Laver, Essex.²⁴³ The Baptism Register for All Saints, High Laver, Essex, has the entry:

Harry, son of Thomas and Emma Peacock, brick Layer of High Laver, was baptised 4.8.1878

He appears with his parents in the 1881 Census and with his mother in the 1891 and 1901 Censuses.

Harry Peacock and Harriet Maude Springham¹⁶ were married in 1901 in Epping, Essex.¹⁶  The Civil Marriage registration reference is:  Sep 1901, v 4a, p 739: in Epping, Essex.¹⁶  (Harry was registered as being Henry Peacock).

He died on 6 February 1966 in St Mary the Virgin, Matching, Essex²⁵³  and is buried in Matching Churchyard²⁵³.  The inscription on his and his wife's headstone (Grave Position 197 in plan) is:

HARRIET MAUD PEACOCK
WHO PASSED AWAY APRIL 12 1954
AGED 72 YEARS

Sweet is the spot where you are laid
