Sixth GenerationHarry Peacock (1878 - 1966) - son of Thomas Peacock (1840 - ?) - son of John Peacock (1803- 1843) - son of William Peacock (1778 - 1845) - son of John Peacock (1738-?) - son of John Peacock (about 1710-1742) Harry Peacock was in 1878 in All Saints, High Laver, Essex.243 The Baptism Register for All Saints, High Laver, Essex, has the entry: Harry, son of Thomas and Emma Peacock, brick Layer of High Laver, was baptised 4.8.1878 He appears with his parents in the 1881 Census and with his mother in the 1891 and 1901 Censuses. Harry Peacock and Harriet Maude Springham16 were married in 1901 in Epping, Essex.16 The Civil Marriage registration reference is: Sep 1901, v 4a, p 739: in Epping, Essex.16 (Harry was registered as being Henry Peacock). He died on 6 February 1966 in St Mary the Virgin, Matching, Essex253 and is buried in Matching Churchyard253. The inscription on his and his wife's headstone (Grave Position 197 in plan) is: In Loving memory of Sweet is the spot where you are laid From her loving husband ALSO OF (This is not the full inscription, other names are present).
