Frederick Peacock was born in 1886 in Matching Green, Essex.14

He is living with his father in the 1891 and 1901 Censuses.

Frederick Peacock and Ellen Reed were married in 1914 in Matching, Essex.222 The Marriage Register for St May the Virgin, Matching, Essex, has the entry:

Frederick Peacock, 28, Bachelor Labourer, Matching Green, married Ellen Reed, 25, Spinster of Marriage Feast Room Cottage, on 5/9/1914. Both signed.
Fathers: John Peacock Labourer and William Reed Labourer.
Witnesses: Annie Elizabeth Reed and Percival Hubert Lac? Silcock and William Reed. All Signed.

Frederick and Ellen continued to live in Matching and are buried in the Matching Churchyard.253  The inscription on their headstone in Matching Churchyard (Grave Position 155 in plan) states:

In Loving memory of
Frederick Peacock
died 26th April 1964
Aged 78 years
Also of his wife
Ellen Peacock
Died 9th March 1975
Aged 86 years
United

This is not the full inscription, other names are present.

Frederick Peacock and Ellen Reed had the following children:

Jack Peacock was born about 1916. He was a Reverend.
