Mary Peacock was born in Matching Green, Essex and was baptized in Abbots Roothing Congregational Church, Abbots Roding, Essex.227 The Baptism Register of Abbots Roding Congregational Church, Abbots Roding, Essex, has the entry:

Mary Peacock, daughter of James & Mary Peacock of Matching Green, was born 17.8.1878 and was baptised 29.9.1878.

She was living with her parents in the 1881 and 1891 Censuses.

Mary Peacock and Frank Comyn Day were married on  in St Edmund, Abbess Roding, Essex.270  The marriage banns were published in 1901 in St Mary the Virgin, Matching, Essex.222

The Marriage Register of St Edmunds 270, Abbess Roding, Essex has the entry:

Mary Peacock, 22, Spinster of Matching and Frank Cummings? Day, 20 , bachelor, Gardener, of Abbess Roding were married 21/2/1901 by Banns.  Both signed.

Fathers:  James Peacock, Labourer and Charles Day, Labourer.

Witnesses:      Thomas Peacock and Jessie Suckling, both signed.

Thomas Peacock was her brother.
