Thomas Peacock was born in Matching Green, Essex²²⁷  and was baptized in Abbots Roothing Congregational Church, Abbots Roding, Essex.²²⁷ The Baptism Register of Abbots Roding Congregational Church, Abbots Roding, Essex, has the entry:

Thomas Peacock, son of James & Mary Peacock of Matching Green, was born 9.1.1876 and was baptised 30.4.1876.

IHe is living with his parenys in the 1881 to 1901 Censuses.

Soon after this Thomas Peacock marries and Ethel Day.  The Marriage Banns Register for St Mary the Virgin ²²² , Matching, Essex has the following entry.

They were married  in St Edmund, Abbess Roding, Essex.²⁷⁰ The Marriage Register of St Edmunds, Abbess Roding, Essex has the entry:

Thomas Peacock, 27, bachelor, Labourer, of Matching Green and
Ethel Day, 24, spinster of Abbess Roding were married 23/12/1902 by Banns.
Both signed the register.
Fathers: James Peacock Labourer and Charles Day Labourer.
Witnesses: Frank C Day and Florence Emily Day. Both signed

Ethel Day was born in 1878 in London.¹⁵

In the 1881 and 1891 Census returns she was living in Abbots Roothing, Essex.  However In the 1901 Census, Ethel was a e Nurse at Eastern Hospital, Central Hackney.

Thomas Peacock and Ethel Day had the following children:

i.	Thomas Peacock was born in 1904 in Matching Green, Essex.270 He was baptized on 10 January 1904 in St Edmund, Abbess Roding, Essex.270 The Bishops Transcripts of Baptisms of St Edmund, Abbess Roding, Essex has the entry: Frank Thomas, son of Thomas and Ethel Peacock, Labourer of Matching Green. was baptised 10/1/1904
ii.	Dorothy Ethel Peacock was born in 1905 in Matching Green, Essex.222 She was baptized on 24 October 1905 in St Mary the Virgin, Matching, Essex.222
iii.	Kathleen Joyce Peacock was born in 1911.4 She was buried on 1 March 1913 in St Edmund, Abbess Roding, Essex.227 The Burial Register of St Edmunds, Abbess Roding, Essex has the entry: Kathleen Joyce Peacock of 22, Northley Road Braintree was buried 1/3/1913 aged 21 months She died in 1913 in Braintree, Essex.227
