Rebecca Peacock (1780 - after 1851) - daughter of John Peacock (1738-?) - son of John Peacock (about 1710-1742)

Rebecca Peacock was baptized in 1780 in All Saints, High Laver, Essex.²⁴³ The Baptism Register for All Saints, High Laver, Essex, has the entry:

Rebecca, daughter of John & Mary Peacock was baptised 3/12/1780

Rebecca Peacock and John Saville were married on 1805 in Matching, Essex.²²² The Marriage Register for St Mary the Virgin, Matching, Essex, has the entry:

Rebecca Peacock married John Saville on 4.11.1805. Both signed X
Witnesses: Timothy Dennys ( signed ) & William Peacock ( signed with X ).

It is believed that John Saville died about 1818.

It is thought that Rebecca then married a very much younger man, William Lambert.   We have not found this recorded in a Marriage Register, but have found the couple in the 1841 and 1851 Census returns.

William Lambert was born in 1798 and died in 1860 in Matching, Housham Gate, Essex.²²²
