Jane Peacock (1816 - ?) - daughter of Thomas Peacock (1783 - 1837) - son of John Peacock (1738-?) - son of John Peacock (about 1710-1742)

Jane Peacock was baptized in 1816 in St Mary and Hugh, Harlow, Essex.247 The Baptism Register of St Mary and Hugh, Harlow, Essex, has the entry:

Jane, daughter of Thomas & Lucy Peacock Labourer, of New Way Harlow, was baptised 23.7.1816

Jane Peacock and George Harknett were married in 1834 in St Mary the Virgin, Matching, Essex.222 The Marriage Register for St May the Virgin, Matching, Essex, has the entry:

Jane Peacock (Spinster) married George Harknett (Bachelor) on 24.8.1834. Both signed X
Witnesses: Jonathon Foster ( signed ) & John Turner ( signed ).

They appear in the 1841 Census with their two eldest  children.  However, in the 1851 Census there are no children present.  We are not sure what happened to their children.  William maybe living with relatives in Matching.  It is possible that the girls died.  Further research is required.

William Harknett was born in 1836 and appears with his parents in the 1841 Census above.

Ann Harknett was born in 1839 and appears with his parents in the 1841 Census above.
iii Hester Harknett was baptized in 1844 in St Mary the Virgin, Matching, Essex.222 The Baptism Register of St Mary the Virgin, Matching, Essex has the entry:

Hester, daughter of George & Jane Harknett Labourer of Newmans End, was baptised 16.6.1844
 

iv Eliza Harknett was baptized in 1849 in St Mary the Virgin, Matching, Essex.222 The Baptism Register of St Mary the Virgin, Matching, Essex has the entry:

Eliza, daughter of George & Jane Harknett Labourer of Newmans End, was baptised. 4.3.1849
