Lydia (Thomas's wife) was born in 1783 in High Laver, Essex.
We do not know when they married, but they were the parents of William Little
who was baptised in 1821. Two females Hannah (married in 1839) and Sarah
(married in 1838) list Thomas as their father. It suggests that they
were married by about 1815.
(However, it is possible that Lydia was a second wife and the two girls
were children by a first wife. A Hannah Little was buried in 1816, aged
30 years, who would fit the bill. More work is needed to clarify the
situation). Lydia died in 1861 and was
buried in St Mary the Virgin, Matching, Essex.222
