Second GenerationCaroline Fish ( 1821 - ?) - daughter of John Fish (about 1780 - 1849?) Caroline Fish was born on 26 December 1821 in Bath, Somerset.9,20 The IGI has: Caroline daughter of John and Elizabeth Fish was baptised on 1/12/1822 at Walcot Vineyard, Countess of Huntingdon in Bath, Somerset.20 (This was a Presbyterian church). It seems that three of the Fish girls were baptised on the same day. Perhaps their father and mother had just become members of the church and thought that it would be appropriate to have the girls baptised. Caroline Fish and James Somers were married in 1846 in Lambeth, Surrey.16 Civil Registration of marriage reference is Dec 1846, vol 4, p 314 - in Lambeth, Surrey.16 The Marriage Register for St John, Waterloo262 has: Caroline Fish, full age, Spinster of York Road and James Somers, full age , Clerk, of York Road, were married by Banns on the 24/12/1846. Both signed the register. The fathers were John Fish, Tailor and James Somers, Butcher. The Witnesses were Harriet Fish and James Green, both of whom signed. Caroline appears in the 1841 Census with her parents and in the 1851 Census with her husband.
