The Marriage register of the Parish Church of Stanstead Mountfitchett
105states: Elizabeth Bond Spinster and Robert Levey Widower and baker
of this Parish were married by Licence on 3/1/1774. Both signed Witnesses
were John Redington and Thomas Shingle, both of whom signed. The Marriage Licences
(D/ALL 1765 Essex Record Office) states: The twenty first day of
October 1773 On which day appeared personally Robert Levey, a Baker, and
made Oath that he is of the said Parish of Stansted Mt. Fitchet in the
County of Essex, aged upwards of 39 years , Widower, and intends to
intermarry with Elizabeth Bond of Stansted Mt. Fitchet aforesaid Spinster,
aged 42 years. He the deponent not knowing or believing any lawful lot or
impediment by reason of any pre-contract entered into before the 25th day
of March 1754 consanguinity Affinity or any other lawful means whatsoever to
hinder the said Intended Marriage and prayed a Licence to solemnize the said
Marriage in the Parish church of Stansted Mt. Fitchet aforesaid in which
said parish they have had their usual abode for the space of four weeks last

Brownes Marriage Licences states
Guarantors were Robert Levey and

office) Robert Levey left £150 to his wife Elizabeth who was to be
Executor along with Robert Bull. Rest of estate to be sold and to go to his
five children Isobella, Robert, Thomas, William and Uriah (by previous
marriage).
