Rose Burgar was born in 1911 in Fulham London, the twin of Ivy.16

She died on 20 Sep 2003 at Bracknell Berkshire.124

Rose was a lovely person, a bundle of fun and the centre of her family.

Rose had some funny stories to tell about her life as a child. One concerned her sister Jane (Ginny) who was pregnant with Walter . Rose was about 6 at the time, and remarked to her Mum that Jennie was getting fat around the stomach area. Granny Burgar (Mary Ann) told her that she was fat because she  had eaten too much bread pudding. A clip around the ear was the signal that she was not allowed to talk about the subject. Later she and all the younger siblings were sent out for the day and, much to their surprise, on arriving back found a new baby in the house.
