Matilda Stynes was born in 1856 in St Brides, Fleet St, London.20 The IGI transcript has:

Felicia Matilda Stynes, born 9 August 1856, Christened 28 May 1857 at St Andrew Hollborn.

In the 1861 and 1871 Censuses, she was living with her parents12

Matilda Stynes and William George Hudson were married in 1884. Civil Registration of marriage reference is Jun 1881, vol 1b, p937, Strand London.16
