She died in 1910 at Warwick, Warwickshire.16 Civil Registration of Death reference is Sep 1910 V 6d p 277. Aged 57 - Warwick, Warwickshire.16  She was registered as Helen Burgar, not Eleanor Burgar.

She is seen in the 1861 Census living with her father.

See 1861 Census

We believe that we may have found her in the 1871 census living as a servant.

See 1871 Census

In 1881 she is living with her widowed sister, Sarah (Burgar) Cope.

See 1881 Census

Eleanor has been difficult to find. Part of the reason for this is that she never married and was a servant for most of her life. This means that she probably was not in control of putting her name on the Census returns. This would have been done by her employer, the head of the house. The result would be that he/she would probably not know the exact spelling of her name. Also her first name varies, she is born as Eleanor, crops up as Emily, and is Helen when she dies.

She might be working in as a servant in Handsworth, Staffordshire as a domestic servant.14
