Census Returns for John Wesley Burgar (1816-1878)

Some of these returns relate to the relations of John Wesley Burgar.

Unfortunately, the portion of Banner Square where the Burgar family lived is missing from the 1841 Census, so John Wesley Burgar and his mother, now Mary West, are not recorded.

After his wife died John Wesley Burgar has moved back to London with his two youngest children.  They are said to have been born in Buckinghamshire, but this should be Warwickshire.

When Sarah Hudson (Leather) Burgar died in 1858, John Wesley Burgar was living at 17 Ravenhurst St.  Living close by was Benjamin Leather (below). It is thought that Benjamin H. Leather is a possible brother-in-law of John Wesley Burgar.
